How to be a top presenter by Charlie Glickman and Howard Bloom

Teaching workshops can be one of the most powerful tools for creating and sustaining a strong BDSM community. Being knowledgeable and passionate about your topics of interest is only the beginning. Developing an effective workshop is similar to creating a memorable scene with key ingredients that meets everyone’s needs. This workshop will familiarize you with the essential elements that will help you enhance your workshops and ensure that you become a “Top” presenter.

How you will benefit from this presentation:

By the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to: Identify the four key components to effective teaching and Describe two ways that they can use learning objectives to select or design useful teaching activities.

How this presentation will arouse you:

One of the most motivating forces for workshop facilitators and community leaders is knowing that they have connected with their audiences and had a positive influence in their lives. By helping the participants improve their teaching skills, this workshop will make it easier for them to build positive relationships within their communities. In addition, a well-designed workshop is, in and of itself, a form of activism and the participants of this program will be able to engage in that work more fully and authentically. If that doesn’t arouse you, then nothing will!
