This presentation will outline an example of San Diego Club X working with Local Law Enforcement to created a open line of communication and include a brief history of the San Diego Kink/Leather/BSDM/ Fetish scene, reasons for developing this association, how it was set up/created, and a current update in this ongoing process.

Karen Yew is a frequent presenter at kink/leather/fetish events and conferences nationwide and has presented at LLC 10 in New York and the recent Tuscon regional conference. Karen has also served as Ms. San Diego Leather 2004, Club X Board Vice President, Co-Chair of San Diego Pride's Leather Realm 2005-2007 among her many postions.
