| Sales and marketing strategies and skills for non-profit organizations by Lee Asplund Sales and marketing belong in more than the outside world for any organization to be known, supported, and to experience growth and outreach it is critical to get out the message of who the organization is, what the goals and vision are, and how the organization will achieve those goals. Sales and marketing strategies are inherent to effectively communicate this message to not only our alternative community but to the rest of the world. How you will benefit from this presentation: Organizations require funding and reputation in order to succeed. Identifying ways to communicate what and who the organization is can result in funding sources and community buy in - resulting in growth and longevity. How this presentation will arouse you: Participants will be encouraged to share their own challenges and how they may have found ways to market their organization and sell their vision to the community. About the presenter: Lee Asplund has been involved in the leather community for more than ten years, first in the Southeast, then San Francisco where she was active in the South and East Bay leather communities. She served as a volunteer for Folsom Street Events for 2 years before serving as the Board Secretary for 2 years. Recently, she has relocated to Los Angeles to serve her Owner. Lee is a bootblack, an activist, and an educator on a variety of topics, including lifestyle issues, non-profit management and growth issues, and fetishes.
