| Let's get organized a panel moderated by Glena Rider A panel discussion with the leaders of our National groups about the current state of our communities and where we might be headed. Panelists will speak about the mission and goals of their organizations as well as their current projects; current and future challenges on the social, legal and political fronts; and what each organization’s part in meeting those challenges might be. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the roles each of the national BDSM, Leather, Fetish and Sexual Freedom organization plays in our society today. How you will benefit from this presentation: Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the roles each of the national BDSM, Leather, Fetish and Sexual Freedom organization plays in our society today. They will also learn how each organization plans on addressing the challenges we face in our communities, and how they may volunteer to get involved with the projects of interest to them. This workshop will be valuable to any attendee who wishes to gain a better understanding of the role of national organizations in leather communities. How this presentation will arouse you: It will inspire attendees to get involved with national organizations and their projects. About the presenters: Glenda Rider is a coordinator of FIST (Females Investigating Sexual Terrain) and a retired member of the Board of Directors of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF.) She is also a member of the Emeritus Board of the Leather Leadership Conference. Glenda owns Play House Studios in Baltimore which is 45,000 square feet of play space decorated with her large fetish art collection. She is also the Executive Producer of International Ms Leather, to be held May 1-4, 2008 in San Francisco (www.IMsL.org.) More panelists to be named soon. |
