| BDSM education: What does the community really need? by Jack Rinella and Rob Bienvenu Jack Rinella, in collaboration with The Community-Academic Consortium for Research on Alternative Sexualities (CARAS), is conducting an assessment of the present state of educational practices in the BDSM community. Join Jack, Rob Bienvenu, and others to learn how this effort could form the basis for growth, development, and improvement in teaching within the BDSM community. Your participation in responding to the panelists will be welcomed. How you will benefit from this presentation: They will help guide us in conducting the survey and therefore have an important voice in it. How this presentation will arouse you: They will be empowered to join us in creating quality educational programs for our culture. About the presenters: For more than fifteen years national speaker and educator Jack Rinella has been writing about kinky sex. He is the author of six books on the topic and has been active in the Leather scene since 1983. Jack is a member of MAsT-Chicago, CHC, and on the board of LLC. Rob Bienvenu, Ph.D., is a sociologist who lives in the Washington, DC area. His research addresses history, health, and policy issues affecting sexual minorities, with focus on strategies for inclusion and positive change. |
