Consent counts: A grass roots report with Pat Baillie

Last year activists gathered, a discussion began about a key issue impacting us all - The decriminalization of BDSM. A grass roots project was born to examine the laws that make what we do illegal.  Data was gathered from around the country compiled into a report that can be used as a basis of future national and local networking.  We will present the findings and facilitate a discussion looking at the next step toward decriminalizing BDSM.

How you will benefit from this presentation:

This is the first step in a long term national drive to decriminalize BDSM and can serve as the community voice to the larger national community.  This gives the attendees a chance to learn, contribute and become part of the process.

How this presentation will arouse you:

Imagine being a leader, long-time, new, even future and being given the opportunity to make a difference - A present day and long time difference. Imagine inviting us all to create the dream in which what we do, who we are, is no longer threatened by our legal system. Parents no longer are losing children because they are Masters or slaves. Employees are no longer fired because they participate in SM. The non-consensual fear of being jailed for consensual adult behavior has been removed from our justice system. This presentation will arouse our attendees as we take a real step toward making a real difference.

About the presenter:
